"The noblest exercise of the mind within doors, and most befitting a person of quality, is study."- Sir William Ramsey
As most of you know, unless you have been sleeping under a rock for the past few weeks, the EOY is finally upon us and the fears of all students in our little island of Singapore will soon be realised, possibly in the form of alphanumerical terms, terms such as D7 and F9, or perhaps for some of us here, it will manifest into something unspeakably horrible, something like a U grade... Well. enough of such ominous talk, the bright side to the EOY is that the December holidays come straight after this, although I don't think that it will be really much of a holiday for me since I have to start preparing for my 'O' Levels next year *gasp*, just typing those two words makes me feel so nervous already... At least I have something to worry about next year, but coming back, the EOY is seriously not a playing matter, especially when you have the whole class braying for your blood behind your back and vowing to beat you in every subject, you will also know that the situation isn't a good one when you are up against a rival whom you have only a 0.1% chance of beating. So to prepare myself for this titanic clash, if I may call it, I have decided to start studying at least 5 subjects a day. Yes, you may think that I'm crazy, but this can be done provided that you persevere and stay committed. So after such a long day, I'm beat now. so by blogging, I'm also taking the perfect chance to have a rest( hey, I studied 8 chapters of chemistry today, you know). Ok before I close, like me show you my targets for EOY, prepare to be dazzled:
EL: A1
CHINESE:A2( yes, it can be done)
A MATHS:A1
E MATHS:A1
CHEMISTRY:A1
PHY/BIO:A1
HUMANITES(COM.):A1
This is not to boast or what, it's jus tfor your interest's sake, if you do not wish to look at it, it's fine by me. Anyway, goodnight and good luck!

Genesis: The Beginning
" Writing is the hardest work in the world. I have been a bricklayer and a truck driver, and I tell you- as if you haven't been a million times already -that writing is harder. Lonelier. And nobler and more enriching. "- Harlan Ellison
A very good day to you all, welcome to this humble blog of mine. Though it may not look like much( pardon me for the lack of pictures ), I hope that you will be able to sense the sincerity in the words I write, or for that matter, type. For those of you who may know me, I have finally decided to keep a blog of my own as the temptation to do so has finally caved in, leading me with no choice but to start one, yet, I hope that this "blogging" issue will not become an addiction since I have other more worrying things to think about at the moment, issues such as the End-of-Year Examinations which will give me panic attacks whenever I frequently think of it. The life of a self-professed "geek-warrior" is not an easy one, besides many dates with a diversity of textbooks, there are plenty of adversaries out there as well, which you will soon know in time to come if you stay tune of course. As the EOY draws nearer and nearer, my military-studying camp will become much more intensive, therefore, I may not have the time to blog, but never fear, I will be back in about a month's time. For those of you who may be curious about my pompous writing style, I will confide in you that my ambition is to become a great writer, so by blogging, it's like killing two birds with one stone as I can improve my language skills and become a better writer at the same time. Do take note though, I'm definitely not showing off my skills for the fear of negative critics out there who stop at nothing to "spam" the blog of others... Anyway, this post is just my "opening address", it gets more and more interesting as time progresses, so I hope that you will stay tune and have the faith to come back to take a look. Until next time, See you and all the best! Timothy Yeo, signing off!
Stephen King once said that curiosity killed the cat but satisfaction brought it back. :) I do hope that you know who I'm referring to.
